Mr. Yeo graduated from the University of Singapore in 1973, and was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1974. He joined (then) Tat Lee Bank Ltd as a Legal Counsel in 1975 when it was granted a banking licence and helped set up the Legal and Securities Department, in addition to heading the Administration Department when the Bank was in its infancy.
He spent about 7 years with the Bank before joining Lim & Lim as a partner in 1982. Mr Yeo’s specialization lies in the areas of property, banking and corporate law. The years spent in the practice of conveyancing has gained him a firm standing in this area of law. In February 2013, Mr. Yeo joined LegalWorks Law Corporation as a consultant.
Mr. Yeo has represented individuals and corporations in sale and purchase of properties or buildings for both completed properties and properties under construction encompassing the spectrum of residential, commercial, industrial, HDB, HUDC, JTC properties.
He has also represented local and foreign financial in the preparation of security documents for loans, refinance, additional facilities, mortgagee sale and redemption of residential and commercial properties.
Mr. Yeo regularly oversees corporate matters and represents clients in contentious/non-contentious probate cases, divorce proceedings, maintenance applications, and general solicitors’ work such as drafting of wills, deed poll, power of attorneys, and tenancy agreements.
Mr. Yeo is also a Notary Public and Commissioner of Oaths. |
