Denyse is a graduate of the University of
Bristol and was admitted as an Advocate and Solicitor of the Supreme Court,
Singapore, in 2009. She specialises in general corporate and commercial advisory
work. After 5 years of working as a disputes lawyer handling everything from
commercial litigation and bankruptcy, matrimonial as well as criminal matters,
she left practice to join a local REIT as in-house counsel, during which time
she was involved with managing the legal, compliance and corporate secretarial
matters of the REIT manager.
Since returning to legal practice in 2017,
she regularly advises clients on a range of corporate matters including mergers
and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate restructuring and investments. Her
practice extends to general corporate and commercial matters, employment,
tenancy, issues relating to the licensing of payment services institutions and
corporate governance.
Denyse regularly volunteers with the Law
Society and presently serves on the “Women In Practice” and
“Publications”sub-committees.
